This article characterizes preconditions and substantiates methodical approaches to harmonization of statistical accounting and bookkeeping; it also shows their correlation in modern conditions. The authors reveal the potential of bookkeeping as to its harmonization with statistical accounting and formulate the approach to coordination of concepts of these kinds of accounting for harmonization of information.

New Approaches to Modeling the Changes of Gross Value Added
The authors suggest a method of use of such specific source of statistical information, as business tendency surveys, for macroeconomic indicator modeling. The article presents a structure of coincident and leading composite indicators for separate branches of economy and the models they are included in. It is shown, that such models display precisely enough the changes of gross value added.

Methodological Approaches to the Estimation of Manpower Indicators for Small Population Aggregates
The paper considers methodological approaches to use of statistical and mathematical models to enhance estimation reliability of the data on employment and unemployment at the level of districts of Ukraine’s regions. By results of approbation of various types of models it is offered to use the mixed EBLUP-model for estimating manpower indicators, which is successfully applied in the world when solving problems of small territories.

Statistical Analysis of Inflation Factors in Ukraine
The factors that cause accelerated development of inflationary processes in Ukraine during last years are analyzed in this article. The authors show the reasons of the origin of inflationary processes give statistical estimation of their development for last three years and reveal the most important factors causing inflation. Recommendations for taming inflation in the country were formed by results of research.

The modern condition of the market of insurance services in Ukraine is analyzed in this article. The basic indicators of insurers’ activity for 2008 are presented. The author also analyses indicators of total and clear insurance premiums and payments, determines the loss ratio by kinds of insurance and shows main directions of the insurance market development in conditions of world financial crisis.

Basic Aspects of Regional Dynamics of Labor Market
The author analyzes the labor market of the city of Kovel and Kovel district of the Volyn region for the period since January, 2007 till October, 2009. Dynamics of unemployment and employment indicators, complex and characteristic for superposition of the seasonal and other cyclical changes demanding special methods of research is under consideration. It is shown, that connection between unemployment and employment indicators is return.

Part I. Solvency of Consumers of Services of the Centralized Heating
The article deals with the key problems of performance of the centralized heat supply system. The author presents the estimation results of solvency of the population, analyses the forecasting indicators of financial ability of the population to pay for services of centralized heating for the period till 2019. A conclusion is made, that there is the urgent need to carry out energy-saving measures in dwelling houses and other economic, organizational measures which will promote an increase of services consumers’ solvency.

Social Statistics Indicators as Basic Information for Working out and Realization of Social Policy
The article examines the system of indicators of social statistics, used by the state statistics agencies. The author determines the key directions of social policy at the present stage of the country development and presents basic systems of indicators of domestic social statistics, which were formed with the account of international standards, for the information support of the state statistical agencies. On the basis of the carried out analysis suggestions are given on formation of the optimal list of statistical indicators for development and realization of social policy.
