Modeling of Integral Public Health Indicator
The author proves the necessity of working out an integral public health index. She also presents the detailed theoretical analysis of methods for estimation of the public health level suggested in foreign and domestic scientific sources. The author offers her own algorithm for estimating the public health level in Byelorussia in 1990-2005 and in its regions in 2005.

Methodical Approaches to the Shadow Economy Volume Determination in Agriculture
The article presents methodical approaches to the shadow economy estimation in agriculture as well as the examples of calculations. The paper considers peculiarities of using financial and comparative calculation methods for corresponding indicators. The results allow to form additional calculations in the SNA for the non-registered (shadow) activity and to analyze the situation and tendencies of shadow economy in the branch.

Statistical Estimation of Households Income Differentiation at the Municipal Level
The article deals with leading principles of statistical estimation of solvency of the population in some cities and its willingness to pay for the used municipal services. It also analyses the sources of information that can be used while estimating solvency and readiness to pay. Some models are offered to increase reliability of the population income rating at the municipal level and to determine readiness to pay for the used municipal services

General Financial Position of Economic Entities of Ukraine: Statistical Estimation
The paper gives indices of financial independence, general liquidity and owned working assets security of Ukrainian enterprises. Taking into consideration the lagging of the indicated parameters from the estimation criteria, their compulsory generalization by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine is suggested for further analysis by the authorities and taking into account while determining priorities of structural and financial policy.

Statistical Observation in the System of Management of the Local Budgets of Ukraine
The article shows preconditions for creating a computer-aided system of information search and keeping. It also studies economic information in pragmatic aspect, examines requirements in information support of local budgets, determines problems of management in local budgeting and offers the classification of budgeting in regions. The paper considers the main technological processes of getting information and analyzes the dynamic series of the system of indicators. The author studies the issue of data authenticity and suggests the ways of solution of the existing problems.

The article studies the specific excise property to have an influence on tax redistribution between producers and consumers of excise goods as well as on market conditions. It also presents conclusions and recommendations relating to the use of this property in modern taxation policy of Ukraine.

Structural Changes in Branch Proportions of Output and Income in Ukraine
The methodological approach presented in this article is based on reinterpretation of importance of statistical research of Ukrainian economy. The author concretizes methodical difficulties in investigation of changes of branch proportions in Ukraine in 1999-2004, substantiates and details the ways to overcome them. A practical example shows the disparity parameters in production and distribution of income at the branch level. The article also presents grounds and directions for deep investigation of the problem.

Movement Tendencies of Social and Demographic Processes in the Volyn Countryside and Determination of Their Interconnection
The article presents a complex analysis of the problem which is urgent both for Volyn region and for Ukraine as a whole – the demographic situation in the countryside, in particular, a decrease in rural population due to the natural reproduction processes. It considers the peculiarities of the rural settling system. The paper also analyses the demographic reproduction process in rural population over the period of 1989-2006, its regional peculiarities and settling models. The author suggests methods of studying the influence of the different demographic factors on dynamics of demographic reproduction of the rural population

Banking Planning as a Key Management Instrument
The paper considers the essence and purpose of planning in a commercial bank. It shows the importance of planning in the system of bank management and presents principles of a business-plan making. The author suggests a banking modeling concept and a model for the bank balance forecasting. The article also presents the developed methods of computer-aided control of business-plan accomplishment and determines a premium distribution procedure based on the general estimation of the level of business-plan fulfillment.
